Chonotenki (超能天気) is an alternative band formed in early 2016 by Wes the guitarist, Jordan the vocalist, Scottie the bassist and Allen the drummer.

 

Chonotenki can be literally translated into “super happy-go-lucky”, reflecting the shared personality that bounds the band together. As we create music in laughter, we strive to set foot in the local music scene and be part of the “climate”, rain or shine :)

 

Upon the completion of our first four songs, 麻甩佬 (Malade), Just In Case, 怪現象(Strange Phenomena) and Summer Roulette, we are on our fifth song 鬆弛熊人(Relax Kumamon) already. Demos shall be out by the end of June. Stay tuned folks!​
